Introduction

ThinkADU QuickBooks Connector ("the App") is a private internal tool operated by ThinkADU. This privacy policy describes how we handle data accessed through the QuickBooks Online API.

Data We Access

When connected to QuickBooks Online, the App accesses:

• Company financial information (chart of accounts, transactions, journal entries)
• Vendor and customer records
• Financial reports (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet)

How We Use Your Data

All data accessed through the QuickBooks Online API is used solely for:

• Internal bookkeeping and accounting management
• Transaction categorization and entry
• Financial report generation
• Preparation of records for accountant review

Data Storage

The App stores OAuth tokens locally on the operator's machine to maintain the connection to QuickBooks Online. No QuickBooks financial data is permanently stored outside of QuickBooks Online itself.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share any QuickBooks data with third parties. Data is accessed only by authorized ThinkADU personnel.

Data Security

We protect data through:

• OAuth 2.0 secure authentication
• HTTPS encryption for all API communications
• Local token storage with restricted file permissions
• No cloud storage of financial data

Data Retention and Deletion

OAuth tokens are stored only as long as needed to maintain the QuickBooks connection. Users can disconnect at any time, which revokes access and deletes stored tokens. No QuickBooks data is retained after disconnection.

Your Rights

You may disconnect the App from QuickBooks Online at any time through the disconnect page or directly from your QuickBooks Online account settings.
